I believe every person has the ability to facilitate healthy changes and has the right to be free from emotional pain and trauma. My ideal client is a person who believes he/she is ready to change his/her life and open to exploring his/her capacity to change from within. The therapeutic relationship is unique and transactional, and it is imperative to have a safe, trusting, and nurturing environment in which to do this transformational work. I highlight a person's strengths and build from the strongest foundation possible to create the happiest and healthiest life.
My specialties include mood and anxiety disorders, chronic mental illness, LGBTQ+ issues, gender identity, couples work, family therapy, core strengthening, and nurturance work, grief/bereavement, holistic healing, sexual abuse and trauma, attachment issues, adoption, spirituality, primary caregiver stress, EAP/work-related issues and end of life issues. My primary goal is to provide the best comprehensive care and create the opportunity for permanent change. I received my undergraduate degree in Human Resources from the University of Delaware and my Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.

Life is full of challenges that aren't always in our ability to control and can be difficult to understand. I believe that everyone has the ability to access their most fulfilling and happy life. Together, we can identify what's going wrong and where we can make changes to improve your happiness, relationships, and overall well-being.
I have a warm, down to earth logical approach to helping clients meet their goals. I strongly believe in learning a client's perspective for issues brought to therapy. I utilize a person-centered approach in efforts to motivate and empower clients in the therapeutic process. I incorporate various forms of therapy such as cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, solution-focused modalities with a sense of humor. I have a strong intuition and can assist clients to meet their treatment goals and improve their quality of life.
I work with children, adolescents, families, adults, and couples. My specialties include but are not limited to family communication, parenting, child and adolescent behavior, depression, and anxiety. I've found that the most crucial part of therapy is establishing a comfortable, collaborative therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment to explore and gain insight into all of life's misfortunes and hang-ups and take action towards fulfilling your goals and dreams. Your desire for an improved life has lead you this far, and I understand that seeking help isn't always an easy or comfortable thing. Let's take the next step in your journey together.

them to help solve their life hurdles. In my office, you are accepted completely as you are. I utilize

State University in 2019 with my Master of Social Work Degree. I currently hold my LMSW and Certified
Advanced Drug and Alcohol Certification and plan to earn my LCSW in Spring 2023. I’ve worked in
various settings ranging from treating offenders in a correctional facility, residential mental health and
substance use programs to outpatient individual therapy. I specialize in helping children ages 7-10 and
adults manage depression, anxiety, substance use, grief, anger, and life transitions. I am a firm believer
that one size does not fit all, therefore I specifically tailor my skills and approach to each of my client’s

My goal is to help people live their lives in happiness. If you struggle with anxiety, difficulty in relationships, poor self-esteem, unhealthy coping mechanisms, inability to understand your emotions, feeling “stuck” and unable to move forward, feeling a lack of inner peace, or you would like to be more in control of your emotions rather than your emotions being in control of you, you are not alone. We can effectively address these challenges together, and learn healthier ways of thinking, coping, and managing ourselves and our lives that will reduce your pain and suffering, and increase your happiness.
I have more than 20 years of experience helping people in the residential group home, inpatient, and partial hospitalization settings, working as a program manager and a behaviorist prior to doing therapy. I work with adolescents and adults who are experiencing difficulty with issues related to acute stressors, life situations, and transitions; depression; anxiety; self-esteem; borderline personality issues; substance use disorders; interpersonal relationships; trauma; LGBTQ+ issues; grief and loss; intellectual and developmental disabilities; and autism and neurodiversity.
I provide a warm, caring, and validating therapeutic space to help you identify and change the thinking and behavioral patterns that have caused you distress and kept you from living your most fulfilling life. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Interpersonal, and Person-Centered therapies and techniques to support your growth and happiness. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston University. I would be honored to take your journey with you.
